U weet dat Hilda bij de telefoondienst werkt. Vandaag moet ze verschillende klanten opbellen, maar die wonen in het buitenland. Op een lijst heeft ze hun gewoon abonneenummer geschreven, maar dat is niet genoeg want ze moet ook hun landnummer en het netnummer kennen.
Inderdaad als u naar het buitenland telefoneert moet u :
1. De hoorn opnemen en wachten op de kiestoon.
2. Daarna draait u het nummer 00 dat toegang geeft tot het internationale net.
3. Nu volgt het landnummer.
4. En daarna komt het netnummer.
5. U eindigt met het abonneenummer.
Maar als u naar het buitenland opbelt, moet u rekening houden met het verschil in tijd. In de telefoongids vindt u een kaart die de tijdzones weergeeft over de hele wereld op het ogenblik dat het middag is in België of Nederland.
